Tour Packages and Pricing

This is the page, where you can find pricing information for tour packages. All prices for the named tour itineraries are based on these prices. As you can see, prices are extremely low. Click here for the Itineraries.

For example, a Catholic tour 7 days, 30 persons cost $537 (p.p.) all-in. The tour Israeli Gem tour has the same price for 7 days: $537 (p.p.), but the Israeli Gem tour 10 days has the price $767 per person.

Tours for those, who only want to have an itinerary, guide and transport are for those who want to wander through the Holy Land and see where their path leads them. The guide needs to be very knowledgeable in order to serve such groups. Many who want to hike the deserts of Israel choose for such tour and mostly small groups prefer this.

Israel tour (from Eilat, Tel Aviv, Sea of Galilee and Haifa) all in, 7 days including guide for $490

The most romantic tour ever! And that says something, because I’m in the touring business for more then 20 years (I’m a licensed guide for Holland, Paris, Berlin and London, but that experience is excluded). Never did I see this in one of my tours and this experience was amazing and amusing to watch.

It started out with a low-budget tour for ten gentlemen from London, who wanted to have a nice, relaxed tour in Israel on a low-budget. They stayed for 7 days and paid $490 per person, all in (including the guide). So far, so good.

Eilat
Eilat

The tour started with Eilat! I arranged two apartments for them next to each other and they spent their time at the first day mostly on the beach, snorkeling, diving and looking at the girls. After they got used to the climate and the fact that they were finally on vacation, we went into the desert with a jeep and camel tour.

Experience Eilat's Mountains

We stayed one night sleeping in the desert with the Bedouins. We also took the Sunset jeep tour, lasting until the morning

Tel Aviv North Port

After that, we moved to Tel Aviv by bus. They didn’t want to go to Jerusalem, because they didn’t want to take risks and for them Jerusalem is not interesting (they were not religious, according them). Anyway, in Tel Aviv we went to all the tourist sights and at the end we ended up at the drum beach.

Drummer beach Tel Aviv

That’s a place (Friday late afternoon/evening), where there are loads of volunteer musicians arriving making music for anyone and where people can dance (free dance).

Tel Aviv night life
Tel Aviv night life

Well, that was it. Two of the gentlemen met two young women from Australia, and they spend the evening with them. The rest of the company returned to their two Tel Aviv apartments and had a good time at a local pub. At three in the night the two Don Juan’s returned love stricken with my reserve mobile phone (you never know). The next day we spend touring Tel Aviv and because Shabat was there, we spent it in the city and used one of my day tours in Tel Aviv.

Two young women (you guessed, the Australians) were silently following our group and when the two love stricken birds recognized their girls they were constantly talking about, they joined the club. From one came the other and the girls knew more girls and the group was expanded with 4 additional girls. The gentlemen acted like gentlemen and decided to pay for the girls as well, caused the planning and scheduling to go haywire, but we survived.

Haifa bay

The tour went from Tel Aviv to Haifa, where we all stayed in a guest house (one night), followed by (now) three apartments for two nights. There they spent visiting all the interesting sights and spent many times picnicking in the forests and mountains near Haifa.

Haifa Trail

We also tempted a hiking course, but that went half-way wrong, because of blisters.

Sea of Galilee
Sea of Galilee

We also toured extensively the surroundings of the Sea of Galilee (with the radically expanded group from 10 to 16 people) and there was some embarrassment when one of the newly couples fell in the lake. The couple didn’t care, because they were kissing in the water when the shipper tried to pick them up (“Rescue them!” he screamed). Obviously the couple didn’t want to be rescued.

All in all, it was an amazing tour for $490 per person and everyone had a really good time. The only thing they regretted was that the tour was too short and there was so much more to see and visit. They plan to come back in December (Christmas) for a new tour, this time 12 days, also a low-budget tour.

Israel tour, 10 days, $637 per person, including guide

I got an message from the contact page here on the site of a large family, who wanted to have a low-budget tour. They were straight and told me their budget of $900 per person and they wanted to stay in Israel for 10 days and see everything. The family was from New York and they had 23 people who wanted to tour. Additionally some of them wanted to re-baptize at the Jordan river, they wanted to celebrate three people’s birthday and of course they wanted to have a guide. All all of that under the $900.

I set to work, and just like the Catholic tour 8 days, $455 p.p. tour, I asked them if they don’t mind public transportation, guesthouses and apartments. They didn’t. FYI for the reader, read this (touring with public transportation in Israel) and Vacation on Limited Budget too if you are interested in cheap but good tours in Israel.

After intense email exchange and talking with Skype, we agreed upon a good, but intensive itinerary for them and I found places for them to stay.

Because they took a guide, there was no need for emailing and faxing their detailed transport schedules, because the guide took care of that.

Welcome to Israel from the Ben Gurion Airport
Welcome to Israel from the Ben Gurion Airport

I arranged a welcome at the airport for them when they arrived (they didn’t know that, so it was an happy surprise) and they took the train to Tel Aviv. That went smoothly and we arrived at their apartment for two days. The apartment was more expensive then normal (season time) and paid $180 for the apartments (that’s still almost $24 per person). They found the food waiting for them when they all arrived there. The evening went fine, because they went out for some events and strolled Tel Aviv in the evening, which is amazing, especially for the family!

Tel Aviv night life

They visited all the touristic sights in and around Tel Aviv and enjoyed several events, like dancing, playing, movies and theater.

Yigal Alon Promenade, Tiberias
Yigal Alon Promenade, Tiberias

After two days, the family moved to Tiberias and they rented a very luxurious apartment/house with Jacuzzi, thermal bath, large garden (they rented a luxurious house and two apartments next to it, totaled $23 p.p. per day).

Yardenit Jordan River Baptizing
Yardenit Jordan River Baptizing

From Tiberias, they had their baptizing, their cruise on the Sea of Galilee (they rented the whole Jesus Boat for $300 for 1.5 hours, had extended lunch on the boat (which they prepared before in their apartments)), and from there they visited all the interesting sights near the Sea of Galilee, several National Parks, Nazareth, Haifa, various trips to the Golan and Northern Galilee, they spend half a day sipping wine at a winery and they celebrated birthdays and had a romantic candlelight dinner on the Sea of Galilee for the parents. They visited all the sites from Tiberias in four days.

How strange it sounds, but they liked my Cemetery tour the most (in Tiberias there is an ancient cemetery thousands years old) and I made a special tour for that in the past. They said “… the stories behind the graves were the most interesting …”.

Mahane Yehuda Market
Mahane Yehuda Market

Then everyone (the ladies though) were really ready to do some serious shopping, so we moved from Nazareth to Jerusalem, where they rented three apartments very close to each other for $135 per day ($18 p.p.). They spent four days in their apartments in Jerusalem and visited all the major tourist attractions, all possible shops, markets, several events, Dead Sea, Masada and Ein Gedi.

There was a small problem with the group, because two people got not well, and they recovered for one day in their apartment. Using apartments for this tour was an excellent idea. Everyone felt at home.

Their tour took 10 days and it cost them totally $637 p.p. all in.

This 10 days tour brings you from Tel Aviv to the north of the country (Sea of Galilee, Nazareth, Tiberias, Haifa, Golan), followed by Jerusalem and the Dead Sea, Masada and Ein Gedi, using apartments and public transport and had a luxurious vacation for $637 per person, including guide. Just another example of a low-budget tour.

If you want to have such tour, contact me or send a message.

Catholic tour, 8 days, $455 per person

Here is an example of a ‘low-budget’ tour under the $600 range (actually this tour cost $455 per person without guide and $515 with the guide). In this tour, the group (of 20) changed one time their location and focused on the center and north of Israel and they lived in luxury and splendor. They used public transportation and apartments to see and visit the Holy Land. Read here about vacations in Israel on a limited budget and Touring Israel with public transportation.

The way how the tour was created was that they contacted me to have a Catholic  tour. As usual, they tell me that they want to have a conventional tour and I offered it to them with some customizations. When I named the price ($1,350), they said that they didn’t have such budget. When asked, they said their budget was $1,000 p.p. So I created for them the low-budget tour and voila, $455 per person, and additionally $20 per person for my services in creating the tour.

A group of 20 Catholic people wanted such ‘low-budget’ tour. They wanted to visit ‘all’ the Christian sights in Israel, but not the Negev or Eilat.

That was an easy one.

They wanted me to arrange a pickup from the airport and place them on the train to Jerusalem and help them with the luggage.

I arranged for them three apartments in Jerusalem (near the city center) for $120 per night (with 3 bedrooms each and one apartment had 4 bedrooms). They paid each person $18 per night for that luxury. And it was luxury, which they didn’t expected at all! TV, Internet, computer, radio, air conditioning, pray sessions and even holy mass in their apartments. I arranged for their pre-made dinners (large dinner (barbecued chicken with vegetables, chips) $20 for 4 persons).

From their apartment in Jerusalem, they toured intensively all the Christian sights in and around Jerusalem and then it was time to expand the tour. They still kept their apartment, and took ‘day tours’ to Bethlehem, Masada, Ein Gedi and the Dead Sea. The next day they said, they wanted to keep it civilized (“… not eating sand …”) and left for Tel Aviv and returned to their apartment in Jerusalem. There is not much to see in Tel Aviv, which might satisfy Catholic people. For all of those ‘day tours’, they bought food for their lunches (prepared in apartment) for picnics and hand food.  They spend totally five days in the Jerusalem apartment and used mainly buses as transport (and they took my free day tours as well).

Oh, they also went to two (free) concerts in the evening in Jerusalem. They rented movies at home to watch.

Then it was time to move up to the north and visit Nazareth. The group dragged their luggage and moved by bus to Nazareth, where I arranged for them apartments, which were even cheaper ($80 per night). They paid per person $12.

From their new base, the spent their time in their apartment in Nazareth to visit the Holy Sights in the city of course, and visited the sights surrounding Nazareth like Cana, Tiberias, Sea of Galilee, Golan and more. They spent totally 3 days in their apartment in Nazareth.

I needed to arrange their trip to the airport for them and I did. With a mini-van they were brought to the airport on time for their flight back home. They spend totally $455 per person on this 8 day tour.

They didn’t, but the group considered to rent a guide for that money. It could cost them $515 per person for the total tour, including guide!

What I did for them to make this tour?

  1. Found for them the apartments for the prices above
  2. Detailed for them a schedule for the public transportation from their apartments to the sights and a good itinerary for each day
  3. Arranged the food and that they knew where to buy more food and what to buy
  4. Took care that someone was at the airport to welcome them and bring them to their apartments in Jerusalem and someone to bring them from Nazareth to the airport (they were really tired and appreciated the luxury of a large minivan to bring them and their luggage (which has grown extraordinary) to the airport

If you want to have such tour, contact me or send a message.
