Ein Gedi, 225 NIS
Israeli Musicians | 4 days with option for camping | Ein Gedi | Succot
A five-day celebration of some of Israel’s most loved musicians, previous lineups include The Idan Raichel Project, Balkan Beat Box, Asaf Avidan, Mosh Ben Ari, and Ehud Banai. Founded in 2000, the Tamar Festival is usually held during Succot at venues around Massada. The main concerts are in the evening and at sunrise. There are spaces to set up tents (and also lots of local hotels and hostels), but you need to get individual tickets for each event. If you want to experience a beautiful part of Israel, and top Israeli musicians, this is a great way of doing it!
The desert has many seasons and unparalleled beauty, but only in one special season does it blossom and wear sounds and colors with the return of the musical celebration of the Tamar festival during the intermediate days of Sukkot!
The most famous and unique festival in Israel is one-of-a-kind musical collaborations with a backdrop of breathtaking desert scenery and unforgettable sunrise performances, rare encounters between East and West, local and international, and original musical combinations that will be talked about much after desert dust.
The festival embraces Israeli musical diversity every year and is a cultural sight. This year it is expanding with sounds overseas and for the first time bringing to Masada the international show of Suzanne Vega accompanied by the Raanana Symphonette, which is the centerpiece of an entire evening composed entirely of leading women in music. The unique experience is spread out over four days, in no less than four different sites, which will provide a variety of shows and activities at different hours of the day for the whole family.
